Add an aircraft by N-number
Updated June 5, 2026
For any US-registered aircraft, you do not need to type out the details. Enter the tail number and KármánLogs looks it up.
How it works
- Start adding a new aircraft.
- Type the N-number (tail number).
- KármánLogs pulls the make, model, and class straight from the FAA registry.
- Confirm whether it is single or multi-engine, plus a couple of details specific to how you fly it.
- Save. The aircraft is ready to use on any flight.
Aircraft outside the US
FAA lookup covers US-registered aircraft. EASA and UK aircraft lookup is coming soon. In the meantime, you can add any aircraft manually by entering its details yourself.
Editing later
You can edit an aircraft at any time if something needs to change, and your existing flights will keep their recorded details.
