Where your flight data is stored

Your logbook is yours. KármánLogs stores it in your personal iCloud account, not on our servers.

The short version

• Your flights, aircraft, and records live in your own iCloud (CloudKit).
• Data is encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest.
• We do not keep your logbook on our servers, and we do not sell or use it for advertising.

Backups and export

• Your data is backed up as part of your iCloud account.
• You can export to CSV whenever you want, so you always have your own copy.

If you lose or replace your phone

Because your logbook is in iCloud, you do not lose it with your device. Sign in to the same Apple Account on a new device, install KármánLogs, and your logbook syncs back down.
